A Note From the President

This quote perfectly describes the four and a half decades the Fairmont Chamber Music Society has been providing “joy” to north central West Virginia with its outstanding classical chamber music programming. We thank our loyal season ticket subscribers, patrons, supporters, donors and partners in the community who make this programming possible year after year.

The Fairmont Chamber Music Society's mission is "to present the best of classical chamber music programming in North Central West Virginia." The society is overseen by a 100% volunteer board with no paid staff. Instead, the group is made up of music lovers who want to share amazing compositions and talented local, national and international artists with the community.

While it takes much effort from our volunteers, we could not put on our events without the support from our season ticket subscribers/patrons; individual patrons/donors; ticket purchasers; and
The Marion County Board of Education for the purchase of concert passes for high schools to provide educational and musical enrichment to students and their parents free of charge and for their support of the FCMS' educational outreach program providing on-site school concerts.
